We used to be concerned with our users and consumers – but now business people need to change their way of thinking. Social-media has changed the way we perceive the world. Businesses and Journalists need to consider people as partners and producers, rather than end consumers. Technology today opens up the door to free thought and communication. There is no more hierarchies, but instead lateral connections, more interaction. People are no longer hung up with titles, but instead respond to the actual individual experience. People are able to share their thoughts, and support other people’s ideas with a mere tweet.
