I don’t usually repost things but—
This is solid advice by Kathleen Barber that always needs repeating….earn the ending! We have to get the reader there with the breadcrumbs we spread throughout the story and not with outlandish things flung at the end, as if we’re testing if the spaghetti is cooked by throwing it against the wall.
