I have always enjoyed her stories, but I’m impressed on how much she also gives back to the writing community.

Angelyn has been donating her time teaching writing classes at a local Senior Center. Her students quickly went from a basic creative writing class to an in-depth writing class. The group has a multitude of experiences to share with the world, so many stories and scenarios, some sad, others heroic. The new writers needed a workbook to help them organize their thoughts, develop their ideas, and write down with fortitude their life lessons. Some students wanted to create their memoir, others only to write their life’s expeditions as a gift for their family. They needed help and Angelyn searched for a proper workbook, but soon found the market was lacking for the tool her students needed.

Angelyn Sherrod decided to write her own workbook, for her class, and for others who want to write down their memories. She’s very good at this, as a mental health counselor, Angelyn understands the ins and outs of dealing with memories, trauma, extreme anxiety, the good, and the bad.
